The last day of our Bonn trip was a long one… well our flight back wasn’t until 23:15, so we had an entire day to fill.
Matthew had worked out a plan… there were two events, another set of lab caches in Bonn, a trip up a ‘mountain’ on a train, then we had to get a train from Bonn back to the airport.
But then there were another set of Lab caches in the airport itself so even when we got there we still had things to do…
Caches No’s 5198 to 5215 – Bonn Mega Part 3
The two German cachers who had come to our Mega to tell us about this Bonn Mega (Cache42Bears) also have a set of Adventure Lab caches a few miles outside Bonn, in the grounds of a monastery.
Fortunately Matthew has a friend Constantine for whom the Bonn Mega was a day trip, so had a car, so we could all squeeze in and go to the Monastery.

We were in a coffee shop in Manchester while we were there for the Geocoinfest in September and Kerry booked a flight to Bonn at a nice price… and was quickly followed by Alison and Matthew, come December the price of the flights hadn’t increased and they had a four bedroom AirBnB, so it seemed like a good idea to go as well.
