July 27th 2009 – Knabs Ridge Windfarm GC17AQE – Cache #64
The new Knabs Ridge windfarm is pretty controversial in that it is in a nice green area and could be deemed to be visually intrusive… however as it is in the next field to the Menwith Hill spy base and it’s legion of ‘golf ball’ radomes is it any more of an infringement upon the rural landscape than what is there already ?

July 27th 2009 – Lock, Stock and Cache in Leathley GC1W3RE – Cache #65
This is a new cache that popped up near my home there are two more new ones near by, but it was getting dark and I didn’t really have a good place to park so I left the other two for another day. I found this one in the gathering gloom as it is on a local landmark so couldn’t be missed even if it was pitch black
