This weekends second trip out was on Monday, well Easter Monday is a Bank Holiday and a long weekend.
I went to Knaresborough for two sets of Lab caches, one which was around the town and the other down in the park by the river where the zoo used to be.
Now I know I went to the zoo there and to Mother Shipton’s cave when I was I think about 8 – which would put it 1971/72 fifty years ago anyway which makes me feel very old.
It was a School trip, I remember that, and I remember going to Mother Shipton’s cave and being sceptical about the petrifying wells ability to grant wishes, but I remember clear as day wishing for a new bike, a red one… it has never arrived.
