New year – new lockdown… stay at home, don’t mix with other people… so I went to work, went home, and apart from going to the supermarket and the fish and chip shop that was my entire life… work / home… I could have gone caching as it’s mainly outdoor exercise and I often do it alone anyhow, but I had no enthusiasm for going out at all…
Eventually the restrictions started to ease, first step was being able to meet other people outside, though shops and businesses were still shut, though cafe’s and such could do a takeaway service. So I arranged to meet a friend who had just moved to York (a friend who has been mentioned before, ReadingBex, who came with us to the Halloween Mega in 2012 – cache #2137), and after we had wandered around the town centre for the afternoon and had a chat I escorted her back home, and then decided to have a walk right around the York City walls and do the lab caches thereon.
