Another working Saturday, so after I had closed the showroom at 4:00 I drove to Bradford and had a little walk around Lister park… 5 Labs, an earthcache and a bonus cache for the Labs
It was busier than I expected for a Saturday teatime as there was a fair going on with rides and candy floss and such like

This weekends second trip out was on Monday, well Easter Monday is a Bank Holiday and a long weekend.
I went to Knaresborough for two sets of Lab caches, one which was around the town and the other down in the park by the river where the zoo used to be.
Now I know I went to the zoo there and to Mother Shipton’s cave when I was I think about 8 – which would put it 1971/72 fifty years ago anyway which makes me feel very old.

This week’s Lab cache trip was to Golden Acre Park near Bramhope, at one time this was an ‘entertainment venue’ with a boating lake, miniature railway, large dance hall and even a roller coaster, but now it has none of those, and is just a park and nature reserve owned by Leeds City Council.

I have to work occasional Saturdays, and this was one of them, so I had to choose a set of Lab caches that was close enough to get to after work, and that wouldn’t take too long to complete.
I had been having problems with my right leg so I had a bit of a limp and didn’t want to walk too far as it would be painful. So this set seemed ideal

This weeks Saturday morning caching trip was to Harrogate, to do a relatively new set of Lab caches that had popped up there.
There was quite a distance between all the points, but one of them was near free roadside parking at the Valley Gardens, so that was the obvious place to park and start
